Trader's hanging body recovered in Netrokona

Police recovered the hanging body of a trader from Durgapur upazila in Netrokona district on Wednesday.

The recovery was made in the afternoon at Noapara area under Birishiri union of the upazila.
The deceased was identified as Abul Kalam, 30, son of late Jamir Ali Dewan, of the same area. He was sand trader by proffession.

Citing family members, police source said Kalam used to sleep in his sand godown. On Tuesday night, he went there as usual after having dinner and didn't returned home till Wednesday afternoon. When the relatives started began searching, they found his body was hanging from the ceiling of the godown.

Upon receiving information, police rushed there and recovered the body, confirmed Durgapur Police Station officer-in-charge Md Bacchu Mia.

Prcedures to hand over the body to the family were underway as they have no complaint in this regard, added the OC.
