A group of some 10 leaders and workers of the Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), the student-wing of Awami League, at dawn on Wednesday brought out a procession in front of Madhur Canteen at Dhaka University wearing black caps and masks.
A video clip shows that they started the procession from Madhur Canteen and went towards the Central Mosque.
They chanted slogans in the names of Mujib and Hasina after long two-and-a half months at the Dhaka University.
The 47-second video clip spread on social media on Wednesday (October 23).
At the procession, they chanted slogans like 'Sheikh Hasina will come, Bangladesh will smile', 'Remove Yunus, Save the Nation', 'Joy Bangla, Joy Bangabandhu,' 'Bangabandhu's Bangladesh', 'Mujib, we see you in the red and green flag' etc. Then they left the Madhu's Canteen hurriedly. Their identities couldn't be ascertained.
It may be mentioned that it was first procession of the BCL on the DU campus after the fall of former prime minister Sheikh Hasina led government on August 5 last in the backdrop of student-people's mass uprising.
