Jamaat discusses its reform proposals with UNDP team

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer on Tuesday discussed its reform proposals with UNDP Resident Representative at a meeting held at the party's central office at Moghbazar in the capital.

The delegation of UNDP Resident Coordinator in Bangladesh Gwen Lewis included UNDP Human Rights Adviser Huma Khan during the meeting with Jamaat Ameer Dr Mohammad Shafiqur Rahman, Lewis wanted to know about the reform proposals of Jamaat-e-Islami. 
Dr Shafiq highlighted various aspects of Jamaat's reform proposals.

During the exchange of views, they discussed the political situation in Bangladesh. 

Present, among others were Jamaat-e-Islami Naib Amir and former MP Prof Mujibur Rahman, Central Executive Council Member Dr Syed Abdullah Taher, Central Publicity, Media Department Secretary Matiur Rahman Akand and Central Executive Council Member Principal Muhammad Shahabuddin.
