Social Welfare Secy sent on forced retirement, BPSC Secy made OSD

Social Welfare Ministry Secretary Md Ismiel Hossain, former secretary to the Food Ministry, has been sent on forced retirement showing the reason of completion of his service period of 25 years.

The Public Administration Ministry on Tuesday issued a notification in this regard.

On the same day, the government made the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) Secretary an officer on special duty (OSD) while an additional secretary has been promoted to the rank of secretary and posted in the BPSC as the secretary.
