BGB detains Rohingya girl, 2 others in Jashore

Three women, including a Rohingya girl, were arrested by Border Guard Bangladesh while they were trying to enter India illegally through Masila border in Chaugacha upazila of Jashore district.

Jashore BGB Battalion Commander Lt. Col. Saifullah Siddiqui said a team of BGB detained three women while they were trying to enter India illegally through Masila border at about 1:45 AM on Tuesday.
The detainees were identified as Rohingya girl Rashida Akhtar, 27, Sapna Akhtar, 25, of Abhaynagar upazila of Jashore and Rita Akhter, 24, of Bandar upazila of Narayanganj district.

Later, they were handed over to Chaugacha Police Station to take further actions after filling a case in this connection.
