Firearms, lethal weapons recovered in Rajshahi

A joint team of Bangladesh Army and Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in an anti-crime operation recovered two firearms and huge lethal weapons from a village in the district on Monday night.

RAB sources said that the joint team conducted a raid at Jamira village under Belpukur police station in the metropolis around 10pm.
 
The team recovered two one-shooter guns, five knives, 10 chinese axes and three iron rods in an abandoned condition.
 
A case was recorded with Belpukur Police Station in this connection and the seized firearms and weapons were handed over to police.
