215 houses brought under power network in Panchagarh

PANCHAGARH, Dec 22: A total of 215 houses of four villages under Debiganj upazila of the district have been brought under rural electrification network by Thakurgaon Palli Bidyut Samity (TPBS) on Wednesday night.
Local lawmaker Advocate Nurul Islam Sujon formally inaugurated the electrification programme at a simple function held on the premises of Samitirdanga Primary School as chief guest.
The four villages are: Mollikadaho, Prodhanpara, Majapara and Samitirdanga.
Sonaher union Awami League President M Delower Hossein presided over the function.
Debiganj Upazila Parishad Chairman M Hasnat Zaman Chowdhury, additional general manager of Boda Polli Bidyut Office Abdur Rashid, upazila Awami League President A.S.M. Nuruzzaman and vice-chairman of the upazila parishad Lutfun Naher Laki addressed the function, among others.    BSS
