Youth's body recovered in Sherpur

Police recovered the body of a youth from a hill in Nalitabari upazila, Sherpur district, on Monday morning.

The deceased was identified as Sohel Rana, 28, son of Nurul Islam, hailed from Rajshahi district.

The body was found on a hill in Dalukona village at around 11:00 AM.

Local residents spotted the body and informed the police in the morning.

On information, the police recovered the body and sent it to Sherpur Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy, said Sanower Hossain, officer-in-charge of Nalitabari Police Station.

The reason behind the murder has not been determined yet, the OC added.
