Female artist Angona's search for answer to psychological problems

Artist Ahsana Angona though young in her age, she tries to depict big issues in her artworks. Earning Masters' Degree (with honours) on Drawing and Painting from the Institute of Fine Arts under the University of Dhaka in 2023, she has made over 100 artworks so far. Her works focused on different issues. Working now as a freelancer, she held her exhibitions at different parts of the city.

In this artwork, she mainly focused on psychological matters of humans. A large number of women are also victims. According to her, every human individual has psychological aspect. A person naturally develops into a fully realized human being when they are good bodily and mentally. If anything is absent from life, there are many difficulties to face. In that perspective, mental and physical well-being is equally vital.

Because a person's physical and mental health are correlated. A person experiences physical health when they feel psychologically well. Many people appear to be in good physical health, but since they do not feel well emotionally, this negatively affects their physical health. Their health issues thus begin to worsen every day.

So she attempted to express the portrayal of people's mental states. She has engaged in attempting to convey mental states through her brushwork. Additionally, she has attempted to depict in symbolic literal form the sort of reflection or reaction that a mentally disturbed person has. By doing this, it may be good to comprehend the state of mind of many individuals and better themselves.

When an individual gradually matures and gains the ability to think independently, mental health issues may arise if their surroundings fail to provide them with support. It is preferable to change the course of this existence. There are moments when it feels unnecessary for me to speak what I want to say.

She can't tell people what she is thinking, or they don't comprehend what she is thinking. When life looks hopeless, it frequently occurs as a result of an inability to comprehend one's own inner suffering, sadness, family members, and friends in the community, relatives, and others. There are moments when it seems like everything in front of you has to be disassembled and reassembled.

There are moments when it feels like nothing can possibly be bearable, and she finds it hard to psychologically accept anything. She so try to torment herself as much as possible without tormenting other people. These are exclusively psychological in nature.

Even if it's often understandable from the outside, people who live next to them frequently continue to label them as insane if they see them carefully. It is completely untrue. Because they are unable to give these issues any thought. This has led to a significant mentality gap between the nation's older people and the current generation. They offer copious commands and advise in theory, but they are unwilling to consider how much is really stated or can be expressed in a natural way.

In addition to technology, the psychological problems that this generation of children is facing are currently being overlooked by social scientists, psychologists, and even parents, educators, and college professors, as well as people who play important roles in constructing society. Large fissures consequently emerge. The population of mentally sick individuals will rise daily rather than fall if the generation is not rescued from that crack.

The artist was motivated as a young painter aspiring to improve others, and to capture the essence of the youth around her.
