KHULNA, Oct 15: Jatiyatabadi Juba Dal President Abdul Monayem Munna has said BNP won't do the same thing what the ousted Awami League (AL) committed for the last 15 years in the country.
Criticizing fascist activities like inhuman torture especially on BNP, Juba Dal and Chhatra Dal men during fallen AL government regime, he said BNP would not commit such type of heinous crimes.
Strict organizational measures are being taken against those violating the discipline of the party, the Juba Dal chief said.
He made the remarks in a joint meeting of city and district units of Juba Dal, Swechchasebak Dal and Chhatra Dal at Khulna Press Club on Monday.
Munna said if elected, BNP will form a national government under the leadership of Tarique Rahman.
He said the people are breathing a sigh of relief in the free Bangladesh following the student-people mass uprising.
But conspiracy against BNP is still going on, he said, urging people to remain alert against the conspiracy. BSS
