Major General Jahangir Alam made new DGFI chief

Major General Mohammad Jahangir Alam has been appointed as the director general (DG) of Directorate General of Defense Intelligence (DGFI).

Jahangir Alam succeeded Major General Faizur Rahman, who has been promoted to lieutenant general and made the quartermaster general. The Army Headquarters made the decision on Monday (October 14).

He was serving as GOC of the 33 Infantry Division in Cumilla.
