Abu Saeed, a student of Begum Rokeya University who was killed during an anti-discrimination student movement, has posthumously passed the 18th Teacher Registration Examination.

Non-Government Teachers' Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA) published the results on Monday.
Abu Saeed's roll number for the exam was 201256297, and the official results website shows that he passed as a teacher in both Bengali and English subjects.

Following the release of the results, Shamsur Rahman Sumon, a fellow student from the Bengali department and a close friend of Abu Saeed, shared an emotional post on Facebook.

In his post, Sumon recalled how Saeed had struggled with the decision to sit for the exam, which took place on July 12, just a day after participating in a campus rally on July 11.

Sumon expressed his grief, stating, "Abu Saeed passed the exam, but he is no longer with us. We have lost not only a brave fighter but also a brilliant student."
