Ex-Kishoreganj-2 MP Sohrab Uddin held in Uttara

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested former lawmaker of Kishoreganj-2 constituency Advocate Sohrab Uddin at Diabari of Uttara in the capital on Wednesday on charges of giving order to carry out attacks on public during recent student movement.

Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Imran Khan of RAB Headquarters (media wing), said that four cases were filed against Sohrab will Kishoreganj and Pakundia police stations. Sohrab named primary accused in two of the cases and third position on the list of suspects in other cases.

He would be transferred to the Detective Branch (DB) office of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).
