Traffic violations: DMP files 857 cases, fines over Tk 35 lakh in Dhaka

The Traffic Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has filed 857 cases and imposed fines totalling Tk 35 lakh 14 thousands 625 against traffic law violators across various areas of the capital. Additionally, 214 vehicles were dumped, and 86 vehicles were towed.

The operation was conducted on Monday by the DMP Traffic Division. Talebur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner (media) of DMP, confirmed the information.

He said that their efforts to maintain traffic discipline in the Dhaka metropolitan area will continue.
