Abandoned bullets, cartridges recovered in Dhaka’s Mirpur

Police recovered six rounds of bullets, two rounds of cartridges and other ammunitions at Shah Ali Majar Sharif Adrat Complex in Mirpur area of Dhaka early Monday.

Muhammad Talebur Rahman, deputy commissioner (DC-media) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), said a team of Darus Salam Police Station spotted an abandoned bag on a road in front of the shrine around 1:30am.

Later, police recovered six rounds of .22 ammunition bullets, two rounds of cartridges, two Motorola wireless sets, one Close Circuit camera, a laptop charger, a knife, some drugs, with the help of the army, he said. —UNB
