World Habitate Day celebrated in Sirajganj

The World Habitate Day was celebrated in Sirajganj district on Monday with the theme of 'engaging youth to create a better urban future'.

On the occasion of the day, a colorful procession brought out from the Collectorate square in the morning which paraded the main roads of the town.
Later, a discussion was held in Shahid Shamsuddin conference room of the Deputy Commissioner's office. Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Gonpoti Ray was present as the chief guest at the event.

Sirajganj Public Works Department Executive Engineer Mahmadul Hasan, District Relief and Rehabilitation Officer Aktaruzzaman and Engineer Narayan Chandaghosh were also present at the programme.
