Travel ban imposed on ex-minister Abdur Rahman

A court in Dhaka on Sunday issued a travel ban on former Fisheries and Livestock Minister Abdur Rahman.

Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Court's Acting Judge Farzana Yasmin issued the order following a petition of the ACC.

Md Anwarul Haqu, deputy director of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), submitted an application in the morning seeking a ban on the former minister to leave country.

The ACC's public prosecutor Mahmud Hossain Jahangir was present during the hearing.
