The students from SAARC nations including Bangladesh studying or intending to study in abroad are likely to get loan support to secure admissions to top universities abroad. Two international partner network and financing companies have given such an announcement on Wednesday.
The Arona International, a certified partner network in Bangladesh, announced its continued collaboration with MPOWER Financing USA, a leading provider of student loans to international students, including those from Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
According to a press release of the companies issued on Wednesday, for the past five years, Arona International has been a key player in facilitating international admissions to the USA and Canada, as well as providing financial assistance through MPOWER Financing.
To date, MPOWER Financing has extended loans totaling $10 million USD to Bangladeshi students associated with Arona International, helping them secure admissions to top universities abroad.
This collaboration has opened doors for hundreds of students, enabling them to pursue higher education in world-class institutions.
As part of this partnership, Clement Ahiekpor, Head of Global Business Development at MPOWER Financing, and Ahad Farhan, Business Development Manager for MPOWER Financing, on Wednesday held a meeting at Arona International office with Arona International to further strengthen ties.
This meeting focused on expanding loan opportunities for students from the SAARC region, particularly Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, ensuring that more students can benefit from accessible financial support.
Clement Ahiekpor said, "MPOWER Financing is committed to making higher education accessible for students globally, and we are thrilled to see the impact our partnership with Arona International has made. Together, we aim to expand our support for SAARC students, offering more opportunities to achieve their academic goals."
