BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Thursday condemned and protested against Israel's attack on Lebanon.

In a statement, he said, "Many people were injured in an Israeli airstrike on the Lebanese capital, Beirut, on Wednesday. Many structures were destroyed, yet the world remains a silent spectator. I strongly condemn and protest this."
"The UN Security Council has been engaged in ongoing discussions, but so far, they have been unable to halt the deadly war. People are beginning to question the effectiveness of the United Nations," Fakhrul added.

The BNP Secretary General has urged the concerned parties to end this war as soon as possible.

He warned that if the conflict continues, it could escalate into more global confrontations. The United Nations must take effective measures to address the situation.
