Robi honours top bdapps developers in exclusive session

Robi Axiata PLC recently arranged an exclusive meetup session titled "bdapps Connect: Engage and Innovate 2024" honoring the top app developers.

Held at Robi's Corporate office at Tejgaon, Dhaka, the event brought together the top 50 developers of bdapps in 2024, the prestigious national appstore of the country, says a press release.

The day-long programme featured discussions, innovation sessions, and networking opportunities. A standout segment of the event was the App Idea Generation Competition, where participants presented team-based app concepts. 'Team Power Rangers' claimed first place for their innovative idea in the railway sector, with Sumit Sikder recognized as the top performer.

Shihab Ahmed, Chief Commercial Officer of Robi Axiata PLC, and Shafiq Shamsur Razzaq, General Manager of Digital VAS & New Business, were in attendance. Special guest Renowned content creator and founder of Digital Dropouts, Rafayat Rakib, graced the occasion as special guest, sharing insights from his inspirational journey for encouraging developers to move forward in their careers.
Appluading the developers' creativity, Shihab Ahmed stated, "We are proud of every member of the bdapps community. Their innovations are propelling us towards new digital possibilities. This platform serves as a hub for developers to collaborate, and through continuous innovation and knowledge-sharing, we are building an innovative society."

bdapps is a national app store and API hub that enables content creators and developers to monetize their innovations. The platform currently supports over 50,000 developers and hosts more than 100,000 apps.
