2 held with counterfeit note-making equipment in Joypurhat

Members of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested two youths with equipment used for making counterfeit notes from Barmanpara area here early Tuesday.

The arrestees were identified as Md Arafat Azizul Haque, 20, son of Anisur Rahman of Mulgram village under Kalai upazila and Ahasan Ullah Riad, 16, son of Al Amin Ripon of Rangamati area under Dhamoirhat upazila of the district.

The RAB personnel also seized fake notes of Taka 35,900 from their possessions.
