Some job seekers staged sit-in in front of the chief adviser's residence demanding to raise the age limit in government jobs.

Around 1:30PM on Monday, a group of students took position in front of the chief adviser Prof Dr Muhammad Yunus's residence Jamuna demanding that the age limit for government job applications be raised to 35.
They warned that they will not leave the place until the government issued a notification in this regard.
Two protesters were injured after police hurled sound grenades and teargas shells on them.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) additional commissioner (Crime and Operations) Md Israil Howlader said, "There was a ban on holding gatherings in front of the Chief Adviser’s residence.
Defying the police obstruction, the protesters gathered in front of the residence.
"We are taking action," he added.
