Road development projects in limbo

Dear Sir

We have experienced some heartfelt issues recently. With the change of fascist government, infrastructural development activities undertaken by various government and semi-government agencies have come to a standstill, causing severe public suffering. Road rehabilitation was underway before the student-led movement, with the direction of various city corporations. Still, after the sudden fall of the government, the authorities have been left indecisive on the project, for which the road is now impassable, turning into a dirt bog with little rain.

Though the draining system was refurbished, the shadow of a cloud in the sky seemed to submerge the road. Recently while visiting some cities, particularly Dhaka, Comilla and Chandpur gave a brutal estimate of such incidents. To look after these events, proper guidance should be provided by the interim government. It is intolerable and pathetic to move in such polluted water.
