Tangail DC Sharifa Haque said, "After Tangail's loom sari, and Chamcham, Madhupur's pineapple got GI product recognition. We are happy with this and also thank the authorities concerned. The availability of GI will further expand its global branding and commercial cultivation. We will take massive initiative to reap the benefits of GI.
