Youth dies as tree branch falls on him

BARISHAL, Sept 29: A youth died as a branch of a tree fell on him while cutting it in Wazirpur Upazila of the district recently.

The deceased was identified as Sohag Hossain, 26, son of Md Mojibur Rahman, a resident of Ward No. 9 Dakshin Harta area of the upazila.
It was known that Sohag was cutting a tree in the area. At one stage, a branch of the tree accidentally fell on him, which left him critically injured.

Locals then rescued him, but the youth died on the way to a hospital.
