Man electrocuted in Netrakona

An elderly man died being electrocuted at Kendua upazila in Netrakona district on Saturday.

The deceased was identified as Bishwanath Kha, 65, a resident of Kumrura village under Bolaishimul union of the upazila.
According to locals, Bishwanath was working on his son's post-wedding ceremony in the afternoon when he came in contact with a live electric wire. He was critically injured and taken to Kendua Upazila Health Complex where the physicians declared him dead.

Dr Rakibal Hasan, on-duty doctor of the upazila health complex, confirmed the death adding that Bishwanath died before he brought to the hospital.
