BSMRSTU-Pirojpur campus declared free from politics

PIROJPUR, Sept 21: Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University (BSMRSTU) in the district has been declared free from politics, drugs and smoking.  

University authorities took the decision at a syndicate meeting held on Thursday. Nine members of syndicate out of 10 were present at that time.

Vice-Chancellor (VC) of the university Professor Dr Kazi Saifuddin confirmed the news.

The VC said, the academic curriculum for the session 2023-24 of newly admitted students of Computer Science and Mathematics, Statistics and Psychology   under Science Faculty has been approved. 

According to BSMRSTU sources, party politics has been banned for students, teachers and officials for until further order; at the same time, smoking,  drug carrying, storage, preservation, supply and sale and use  have been strictly prohibited on the campus.
