Case filed against 29 AL men in Gopalganj

A case has been filed against 29 Awami League leaders and activists at Tungipara upazila allegedly for vandalizing furniture of Swechchasebak Dal's president SM Jilani's Patgati village house.

Joint general secretary of Gopalganj District unit of Bangladesh Jatyatabadi Sramik Dal and nephew of SM Jilani Julkar Sheikh filed  the case as the plaintiff with the Tungipara Police Station on Wednesday night.

On September 13, a group of AL leaders and activists of Tungipara unit AL under the leadership Md. Nazmul Sheikh entered into Jilani's house and vandalizing chairs, tables and furniture, according to the FIR of the case. 

Inspector of Tungipara Police Station Khandkar Aminur Rahman confirmed the matter.

Apart from this, the accused in the case also included 40-50 more unidentified persons .
