Unidentified woman killed in Bhanga road accident

An unidentified female pedestrian, aged around 45, was killed after being hit by an unidentified vehicle in Faridpur's Banga early Thursday.

The accident happened around 1:00 am at Kharakandi on the Dhaka-Khulna highway.
Bhanga Highway Police Station Sub-Inspector Abdullahel Baki said the woman was rescued from the scene in a bloody state and brought to Bhanga Upazila Health Complex where the on-duty doctor declared her dead. It seemed that the woman died after being hit by a careless car due to severe head injuries.

Police are trying to find out the identity of the woman, the SI added.
