Metro rail service on the Agargaon to Motijheel route resumed at 8:25 PM on Wednesday after being halted for nearly 11 hours.

Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) confirmed the development, adding that the temporary suspension was caused by a technical issue.
According to a post on DMTCL's verified Facebook page, the problem was resolved, allowing normal service from Uttara North to Motijheel to resume. The Metro rail authority apologized for the inconvenience caused to passengers during the disruption.

Earlier on Wednesday morning at 9:40 AM, rail service between Agargaon and Motijheel was suspended after a rubber pad between a pillar and girder at Khamarbari station became loose. However, trains continued to operate normally from Agargaon to Uttara North during the disruption.
