Shahin, father of the victim Swadhin, alleged, "They killed my innocent son and floated his body in the river for land. I want justice for my son's murder."

Swadhin's grandfather Rezaul tearfully demanded justice for his grandson's murder and alleged, "The people of Rupganj are always in fear of Mizan's torture.  No one dared to say anything against him till now.  But we will not be silent anymore."

Meanwhile, Jharna, the mother of the deceased Deen Islam said, "We are poor people. Mizan shot dead my college going son just for land.  Josu Bahini helped them. I want these murderers hanged."
