Prof Rashidul made new proctor of JU

Professor Dr A.K.M Rashidul Alam of Environmental Sciences department has been appointed as the new proctor of Jahangirnagar University (JU) on a temporary basis.

An office order signed by JU acting registrar ABM Azizur Rahamn confirmed the appointment on Tuesday.

He replaced Assistant Prof Md. Rubel of Management Studies department.

Besides, Associate Prof Shamima Nasrin Jolly of Botany department, Associate Prof Muhammad Rezaul Rakib of Geography and Environment department and Assistant Prof Dr. Md. Al-Amin Khan of Mathematics department have been appointed as new assistant proctors of the university.    —UNB
