Two Rohingya men killed in Cox's Bazar

Two Rohingya persons were killed in separate incidents in Ukhiya upazila of Cox's Bazar on Monday morning over establishing supremacy in the camp.

The deceased are Kabir Ahmed, 27, and Nurul Bashar, 55.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Ukhiya police station Shamim Hossain said around 30 to 40 people equipped with arms picked up Nur Bashar from his house at Jamtoli and shot him.
In another incident, ten people entered Kutupalong Lal Hills Rohingya camp, Block C-2, through a barbed wire fence and abducted Kabir Ahmed, who was on his way to pray at a local mosque early on Monday. Kabir was stabbed and later, shot to death outside the camp.

Police recovered the bodies and sent those to Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital for autopsy, he added
