Vice-Chancellor of Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) Professor Dr. Muhammad Ismail paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman of Bangladesh University Grants Commission (UGC) Professor Dr. S. M. A. Faiz at his office on Sunday.

During the meeting, the NSTU VC congratulated the newly appointed UGC Chairman, who in return extended his well wishes to the Vice-Chancellor. 
Professor Dr. Muhammad Ismail also presented a proposal for the development project of NSTU's Academic Building-3 to the chairman. He discussed the university's infrastructural challenges and requested the commission's support for swift implementation of the project. 

Additionally, they had a productive discussion regarding a project to mitigate water salinity on campus and addressed the shortage of teachers in the unversity faculties.

The VC also invited the UGC Chairman to visit NSTU's academic and research activities. In response, the UGC Chairman thanked him for the courtesy visit.
