Unidentified woman's body recovered in M'singh

Police on Sunday recovered the body of a young woman from jungle in Mymensingh's Gauripur upazila.

The body of the woman, aged around 25, was recovered around 11:30 am from the side of a graveyard at Fatepur village under Ragopalpur union of the upazila.
Police said local people spotted the body lying in that area and informed police. Being informed, police recovered the body from the spot and sent it to Mymensingh Medical College morgue for autopsy.

Gauripur Police Station Officer-in-Charge Jahangir Alam confirmed it.

The OC said the woman appears to have been strangled to death. There are injury marks on her body.

Legal action is under process in this regard.
