RAB hands over DB inspector Arafat to police

DB inspector Arafat Hossain, who was arrested on Thursday night by RAB in connection with burning bodies after piling them up on a van in Ashulia, was handed over to Ashulia police on Friday noon.

Earlier, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) members have arrested Arafat from Aftabnagar in the capital on Thursday night.

RAB said when the video of the incident came to light, the shadow investigation has been started. Through intelligence surveillance, Arafat Hossain was arrested from Aftabnagar. At first, he was taken to RAB-4 headquarters and, later handed over to Ashulia police.

Arafat went into hiding when the video containing burning bodies after piling them on a van in Ashulia went viral on social media.
