Teenager's body recovered from Tangail paddy field

Police on Friday recovered the body of a teenage boy from a paddy field in Tangail's Ghatail upazila.

The body was recovered in the morning from Kaitkai village of the upazila. 
Police said around 7 am, local residents spotted the body lying on the side of a paddy field. Later, being informed, police went there and recovered the body.

There were injury marks on various parts of the body including the head, police said.

Ghatail Police Station OC Rakibul Islam confirmed it.

The OC said the body was recovered and sent to Tangail General Hospital morgue for autopsy. Legal action is under process in this regard, he added.
