Khaleda Zia admitted to hospital again

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia was admitted to Evercare Hospital in the capital early Thursday.

She reached at the hospital at about 1:45AM, said the party medical cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan.

Khaleda Zia's personal physician Dr AZM Zahid Hossain said, "Madam has been taken to the Evercare Hospital as per the decision of her medical board. She needs some physical tests. She has kept at a cabin."

The 79-year-old former prime minister has been suffering from several health complications, including cirrhosis of the liver, heart problems, lung and kidney complications, arthritis and diabetes.
