2 more murder cases filed against Hasina, cohorts in Dhaka  

Two more murder case against former prime minister Sheikh Hasina and her cohorts were filed in the Dhaka's Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court on Wednesday over the killing of autorickshaw driver Salam Babu and Selim Ali Sheikh in the capital's Uttara and Mirpur areas respectively during the recent Anti-Discrimination Student Movement.

The complainants mentioned the names of some prominent persons as accused in the case. They are former road transport and bridges minister Obaidul Quader, former home minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, former mayor Atiqul Islam, former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun, former chief of Detective Branch of police Harun-Or-Rashid and police joint commissioner Biplob Kumar Sarker.

Tofazzal Hossain, father of autorickshaw driver Salam Babu, filed a complaint against 46 people, including Hasina, with the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Farzana Shakila Sumu Chowdhury.
