247kg venison seized in Pirojpur

PIROJPUR, Sept 11: A total of 247 kilogram (kg) of venison were seized in a joint drive by army and police in the district while two professional smugglers were arrested recently.

The venison was recovered from Karfa Bazer and Shohaghdal area in Nesaraabad Upazila.

The arrestees are Harun Mollah, 55, of Pathargata Village in Barguna District and Abul Hosain, 50, in Mathbaria Upazila in Pirojpur District.
