Hasib Aziz has been appointed as the new commissioner of Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP).
The information was given in an order signed by Home Ministry deputy secretary for Public Security Md Mahabur Rahman on Tuesday.
The order will be implemented immediately in the public interest, the notification said.
Earliar, Saiful Islam was appointed as the CMP Commissioner on June 23, 2024.
It is known, Hasib Aziz was born on December 30, 1971 in Sakipur thana of Shariatpur district. He joined Bangladesh Police on November 15, 1995 as the 15th BCS Police Cadre.
Besides, Hasib Aziz worked as Additional Superintendent in Chattogram District Police in 2002.
