Ex-CAG Muslim Chowdhury appointed Sonali Bank chairman

Former comptroller and auditor general (CAG) Mohammad Muslim Chowdhury has been appointed as the chairman of Sonali Bank PLC.

Financial Institutions Division of the Ministry of Finance issued a circular to this end on Wednesday (August 28).

Chowdhury, who is also a former finance secretary, has been appointed to the position with a three-year tenure from the date of his joining.
