UP chairman missing in Rangamati

A union parishad chairman has been missing since Saturday morning at Rajasthali upazila in Rangamati district.  

The missing UP Chairman is Adomang Marma, chairman of 3 No Bangalhalia union in the upazila and president of the Rajasthali upazila unit of Krishak League. 

Family members of Adomang Marma filed  a missing dairy with Chandraghona Police Station at midnight on Sunday.

Earlier, he left his house to go to Rajasthali around 10:00 AM on Saturday but did not return. Since then, he has had no contact with his family members, and his phone is also switched off.

A missing report has been recorded at the police station, said Andarul Karim, officer-in-charge of Chandraghona Police Station.

Efforts are ongoing to locate the chairman, the police official added.
