Youth held with hemp in C'nawabganj

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an alleged drug peddler along with two kilograms of hemp from Chapainawabganj municipality area on Sunday evening.

The arrested man is Md. Rabiul Islam, 28, a resident of Puraton Bazar Swarnopatti in the municipality area.

Acting on a tip-off, an operation team of the RAB-5 conducted a raid in Pashchim Pathanpara area of the town around 6.30 pm and arrested Rabiul with the drug. 

Later, the elite force handed him over to the Chapainawabganj Sadar police Station, the sources added.
