Major General Abu Mohammad Sarwar Farid has been appointed as the director general (DG) of National Security Intelligence (NSI).

The Inter-Services Public Relations Directorate (ISPR) confirmed the matter in a press release on Tuesday (August 13).

Major General Mohammad Asadullah Minhazul Alam has been appointed as the Commandant of DSSC (Defence Services Staff College), and Major General Khandkar Md Shahidul Emran has been appointed as the Commandant of BMA (Bangladesh Military Academy).
