Army deployed in 417 police stations across country

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Friday, Bangladesh Army deployed in 417 police stations including 29 in Dhaka and 58 districts across the country to provide overall security to the public property and important government facilities.

ISPR press release said on Thursday and Friday, two teams of law and order forces led by the army stop the prisoners trying to escape from Jamalpur Central Jail and Chittagong Central Jail.
Army resisting multiple cases of vandalism and looting in different parts of the country, including a temple in Noakhali district for the safety of minorities. 

Apart from this, army personnel have been deployed to provide security at the Rohingya Camp where forcibly displaced Myanmar citizens located in Cox's Bazar. Army conducted joint patrols with other law enforcement agencies there.

This will speed up the operation of the police to recover the missing weapons. Also, the Bangladesh Army is engaged in the security of various important installations of the country including Bangabhavan, Prime Minister's Office, Mohakhali 
Data Centre.

The ISPR also said that spreading rumours through various social media is continuing to create panic in the public mind. The countrymen are requested not to be alarmed by such rumours, but to use their own judgment in communicating with the army camp.
Bangladesh Army is and will always be with the people for the benefit of the people and for any need of the state.
