Three police stations under the Tejgaon division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) started activities on Friday morning.
HM Azizul Haque, deputy commissioner of police (Tejgaon division), in a briefing said that they have started their activities from morning.
He also assured of giving all-out cooperation to people.
He said, "Please come to Tejgaon police station for any assistance. All station activities have been resumed, including registering general diaries".
He also thanked the armed forces for ensuring their safety so they can return to work.
Earlier, on Wednesday, the newly appointed Inspector General of Police (IGP) Md Mainul Islam asked all police personnel to return to their posts by Thursday evening.
Besides, on Thursday afternoon, the armed forces and law enforcement agencies repeated the call.
More than 400 people, including police personnel, were killed in violence centring the anti-discrimination students' movement across the country.
Police personnel remained absent from work following attacks on them during clashes with protesters after Sheikh Hasina resigned and fled the country on August 5.
