Six die after hotel owned by Jashore AL leader set on fire

At least six people died and 20 others were injured after unidentified miscreants set fire to a hotel owned by local Awami League leader in Jashore on Monday afternoon.


The hotel named Zabeer International is owned by District Awami League General Secretary Shaheen Chakladar, according to media report.
Jashore Fire Service Assistant Director M Mamun said the fire broke out at the hotel at around 4pm and the blaze was not completely under control till 7pm.

Harun Or Rashid, a supervisor at Jashore General Hospital, said they found six bodies in the fire.
