Protesters-police clash near CMM court, vehicle torched

Two prison vans and two police cars were vandalised and torched in front of the CMM court during the clashes between police and protesters.

The clashes, later, spread to Victoria Park from old Dhaka's Ray Shaheb Bazar.

Around 2,000 traders and shop employers brought out protest procession 11am on Sunday. At that time, they were chanting slogans 'Bhuya Bhuya'.
The police fired sound grenades and lobbed tear gas to disperse the protesters.

The protesters threw brickbats targeting the doors and windows in the court area.
