The authorities of Dhaka University (DU) and Jagannath University (JnU) on Monday urged law enforcement agencies and all relevant parties not to harass innocent students during block raids and mass arrest over violence centring the Quota Reform Movement.

The authorities of the two universities asked their students to report any incident of harassment to their respective Proctor Office.

A press release issued by DU Public Relations Office Director Mahmood Alam directed students to report any harassment they face to the Proctor's Office.

"The university will provide all possible assistance in this regard," the media release added.
A separate press release issued by JnU Public Relations, Information and Publication Department Director Tanvir Ahsan called on law enforcement agencies and relevant stakeholders to exercise caution to prevent innocent students from becoming victims of harassment.

JnU Proctor Prof Md Jahangir Hossain assured students that any reported incidents of harassment would be taken seriously and that the Proctor's Office would provide necessary support.
